Deltanet Excel Plus Systems
This system was introduced after the Excel Classic System. It consisted of a major new controller called the Excel Plus controller (R7044 family of controllers) that was highly sophisticarted programmable controller using a modified PASCAL programming language. This versatile controller could be programmed to do anything and everything related to control action of any kind. But the controller had a 64 point capacity and top heavy for many applications. So Micro/Macrocel controllers were introduced to control remote rooms and areas. The remote controllers were also fully progammable. The main controller had a built-in EMS system and Event and Time initiated start/stop programs. To this day there are thousands of these controllers running thousands of buildings all over the world. The OS was provided on PROM but the database had to be created off-line via an elaborate engineering program. This method provided a high level of database reliability compared to memory-direct data entry systems. It is not trivial to engineer/install or service this system but the advantage is the high degree of reliability and error-free operation for years. The system is not error-prone at all and works solid if programmed correctlly.
CITS has all information on this system and all of its documentation and other tools used to install, service and support this system. CITS can also repair all hardware on this system and has stock for all of its patrs. CITS can provide all services for this system including training and reprogrammig it from scratch. This system was later ported to various PC interfaces like the Graphic Central, and later the Excel Building Supervisor System. These systems used Microsoft Windows platform and were able to provide pull down menus and extensive reporting/trending capabilites. These front-ends were the first 100% graphic systems and could display a building and its control actions graphically and the control data appeared dynamically. CITS has full support for all of the graphic interfaces for the base Excel Plus Systm. Later, a fire alarm system FS90, was also added to the Deltanet system to provide integrated control. Please call CITS for all support on this exceedingly large Automation System.

Parts available for this system are searcahable on this website. All items are available immediately. The prices are subject to change without notice for understandable reasons.
CITS Advisory 2 It may appear to that the cost of some tof these items is pretty expensive in some absolute sense but CITS advises that even at the curent prices the items are well worth it since otherwise you will be looking at repalcing the system or upgrading it or you will end up using a lot of time searching for the items. CITS recommends immediate attenstion to your system and offers repair/replacement for everry item in this system in short order. This way you can save tens of thousands of dollars. Please, remember that even migrating just one air handler can cost over 20 thousand dollars if not more. This is because all programs will have to rewritten and new hardwar/wiring installed and new front end used. Please call a CITS engineer to get more information and a recommended path for your migration. Pleae use a safe and economical approach for your site.
In the fianl analysis, use the current system, repair/service it as long as necessary and produce the money for the replacement for the long run.
Always use a safe and economical approach and not just what is technically available. Because the latter may be exciting but may not be justifiable for your business. Thank you RH |
